Every Inch Home uses a risk-based editorial process: the most consequential pages receive the deepest research and review, while ordinary low-risk guidance follows a lighter but consistent quality check.
1. Define the reader’s problem
We identify the room, constraint, desired outcome, and likely next question. Search research may help validate language and intent, but it does not replace usefulness.
2. Decide the original value

3. Research in proportion to risk
Strategic pillar pages and topics involving safety, chemicals, materials, health, cost, or strong product claims receive a full source and claim review. Standard articles receive intent, duplication, internal-link, and factual checks. Repeated low-risk formats may be batch-sampled, with exceptions escalated.
4. Draft for action
We use an answer-first opening, clear steps, realistic constraints, useful headings, and honest stopping points. We avoid clutter shame, perfection language, and a purchase-first default.
5. Check the page as a page
Editorial QA includes title and heading hierarchy, links, media provenance, alt text, disclosure, mobile reading, accessibility, metadata, related paths, and a clear next action.
6. Publish and revisit
We monitor indexing, reader questions, corrections, broken links, and content overlap. Priority pages are updated when evidence, intent, or the practical answer changes.
